The colours of our lives

Sometimes when the wind blows

And shadows are cast upon the velvet sky

I crawl deep within myself

Annulling the casualties

Obliterating the resolutions

In a non acceptance to this toneless exterior

And sometimes

When I dream

I see myself floating above the clouds

Offering sanction to a vindicated reality

Cursing those who are blindfolded with insanity

I think may people can relate to this poem. I often withdraw deep into myself, and I am always annoied at those who I feel are being purpously stupid. Anyways, I saw your name listed on the gold members list, and as my first name is Laura I decided to see if we are anything like each other. It's nice to meet you. Part of me wishes I had thought long ago about using my name as my SN, but I like the SN I have so I am all set with that

I loveeee this!! Your vocabulary, the words you weave are brilliant! And I like the picture, too! I’m so glad you chose this title! This title came to me out of nowhere, and I’ve been dying to see it used!
    Thanks for entering!

Sometimes when the wnd blows shadows cast a different hue upon the colours of our lives and we dream of floating above the clouds of insanity! Great to see you back writing again after so long absent. Good luck in the contest
