Deep in the snow-filled depths
of the vacant seas, I watch your dead eyes
watch me. The snowflakes dance now as
thin, silver globes of air, from
my lungs only. My salt tears greet the
ocean embracing; the amniotic fluid
is the womb of my rebirth.
I would reach up towards the songs of
the sun, but my hands are around your
hands. I can't let go for fear of drowning.

What a chilling image this brings to mind. It reminds me of the titanic movie when I read it. Great job here.
