Looking out with sleep filled eyes
On a new day with rising sun
Listening to the morning birds
As the night shadows run
In my eye I see the hunters
From the times now lost
When the people all ran free
And just living had no cost
Where did all the dreams go
How did such beauty pale
Still yet in my minds eye
I still walk the warrior's trail

your words flow like soft magic and leave a since of sadness behind...to walk the warriors trail is to truly feel the emotions of loss...thank you so much for sharing and for entering
