Insomniac

Her bed is soft
The milk is warm
The soothing music plays
The lights are out
Her pillow's fluffed
But still she awake
Eyelids heavy
Caffeine deprived
And she's counting sheep
But once again
Her restless mind
Keeps her from her sleep
Twenty days
And nineteen nights
Nyquil bottles litter the floor
She takes another
Sleeping pill
Hoping not to suffer anymore
She cannot focus
On anything
Except how long its been
Since she's lived
In insomnia Hell
Missing her dreams again
She's been tired
For so long
That it's miserable now
She feels like
Her Hell-born curse
Is pounding her into the ground
Her bloodshot eyes
Hurt so bad
It makes her want to cry
But she's cried so much
That the glands
Have finally run dry
Suddenly
Her stomach hurts
So she runs down the hall
To the bathroom
To the toilet
Still so miserable
She wipes the vomit
From her mouth
And she wants to scream
But finally
After so much Hell
She starts to fall asleep
And once again
She'll know the joy
Of her precious dreams

this poem is amazing and kind of sad at the same time.
i really enjoy it. It kind of plays with my mind.
Also, I like the way you chose the background to this poem.
You talk about how you're depressed and want to cry and you have tissueboxes on the background. Very creative.

    Keep writing :]

This brought back way too many memories for me ....

so, i think you did a good job with it. I felt, in places, it dragged just a little but - as I [and others] can identify with it, it works!
