The Story's Told (Quatern)

For now at last the story’s told,
Predicted by those men of old.
Now we like them can surely learn,
And foolish legends overturn.

Those gathered see God’s will unfold,
For now at last the story’s told.
The prophecies they'd heard, revealed,
The hidden message now unsealed.

Those that we lost have now been found,
No more in mysteries be bound.
For now at last the story’s’ told,
And Is-ra-el’s at last consoled.

So now we celebrate this day
When birth put laws and death away
And locked them fast in limbo’s’ cold,
For now at last the story’s told.

Oh, I really like this. You know my faith is strong and all but for someone as hyperactive as I am, I think I would lie if I said I am always attentive and concentrated when I am at church. However! If this was how all the church readings where, I might tune in.

    Images in the mind

"Those that we lost have now been found,
No more in mysteries be bound...." Tied in vines of poetic words and wound in leaves. Cradled by the past and revealed at last. Words express your regret and deny the foolish tales of others.....
