The wizard painted a brand new world,
And some may think it absurd,
For he didn't use a palette of colors,
He colored the world with his words.
First he painted the air, making it
Crystal-clear, shining and new.
He talked about a world without smog
And "Poof!" there it was in his view.
His wand flashed with fire as he wrote
Of great calm in inner city din,
And people settling down for the night
Free of worries they'd held from within.
He talked at length to the crowds
Assembled to join in his glee,
They slowly answered his call
And beautified all they could see.
The wizard stood back as he finished,
He smiled when he read what he'd done.
For he'd painted the perfect new world.
For a moment the many were one.
But the wizard will never be satisfied,
He must work hard with speech and with pen,
This world's the one that he has
And he must paint the new world again.

i loved the title of the poem it made me click on it. I really like the poem too. Its really amazing congrats on the gold. it deserved it.
My favorite lines were :

A very lovely, inspiring, hopeful write. I can imagine the best of things ending up ruined in some way or another and needing to be "repainted", especially when the imperfections and individuality of mankind is retained in the mixture of colors on the palette!
