Lassie led Forest Ranger Bob to a rotting carcass of a gray squirrel and she promptly started to roll on the decomposed rodent.
So you expected what? Timmy to be saved? Timmy was at school learning his ABC's.
Forest Ranger Bob was a boob.

This is hysterical! I would be proud if I wrote this too
I am a huge Lassie fan and the theme show music causes me to break into tears to this day. That aside, we borrow from Timmy and Lassie with Ginger when she runs to us and barks in an urgent fashion for no apparent reason. It usually does end up being a squirrel.
I really appreciate this write on several levels.
I have conversations with my dog all the time. I even provide her answers. Sometimes she uses foul language and I have to scold her. lol
