Seasons change, they come and go
All nature sways with ebb and flow
Trees give way before the wind
To avoid breaking they must bend
An animal born in the wilds of earth
Must learn to survive, must learn this from birth
And each member of its own pack
Will stand with them, will watch their back
Animals take no more than they need
Humans, obssessed, are sunken in greed
Creatures of earth adjust to the season
Man defies nature, protected by reason
And man, they say, is one of a kind
Only he ponders with god on his mind
But animals need not, this I protest
Only these creatures can discern god best

Bravo!
Man does defy nature because he thinks he can not only control nature, the environment, the planet, the universe, and the galaxies in which he lives. Maybe man thinks he is the God over the whole universe? Maybe this is why he has destroyed everything in his path...because he knows he can!
Bravo!
