It's just a part
Of life
so let's just ignore it
for a moment of time
A collection
Of Naive thoughts
Both of ours
Let's agree to just let it drop
I admit it was fun
And sometimes conforting
But let's face it
We're both moving
And I promise to write
If you promise not to cry
And I promise to see you one day
If not tomorrow
And It's okay
Cause I right here to stay
And I promise to wipe away
All of your sorrows
Remember that day we met
I'm sorry, but I was really mad
I know I came off
as a complete jerk and all
But you still welcomed me
With mother warm arms
And thank you
Cause I don't know
What I'd do
without you
Remember that girl?
The one that broke my heart
The one that sent me home at night
Ripped apart
And you listened to it all
You saw my rise and my fall
The late night raves
The forbidden craves
It's all been left to yesterday
I really don't want you to go
Cause honestly I don't know
Whose house I'll crash at
when I want to see no one
And I don't know who
I'll cry on
Untill the sun
Rises, yet again
Of life
so let's just ignore it
for a moment of time
A collection
Of Naive thoughts
Both of ours
Let's agree to just let it drop
I admit it was fun
And sometimes conforting
But let's face it

Author notes
This is a song I wrote for a friend whose moving away, and I plan on playing it at her going away party. I have a sinking feeling she's going to start crying, which will make me feel bad, but I still want her to hear it. The verses refer to events we went through together, and some of the verses have double meanings that only she'll get.
