Letter’s To a Broken Home

Father, give a listen to this
No longer attached to you
But still attached to the memory of the day you went away
But now you have 3 kids to feed anyway
Good luck with your calluses and I will be just fine

Brother, I never was a model
But you need to let the chemical’s go
Get some help and leave this awful place
Soon you’ll realize what these words mean
And when you see mother tell here that I’m free

Don’t worry I’m okay
Stuck with the memory of when you ran away
I wrote this letter to let you know that I’m doing it
I’ve made it where I always wanted to be
And found a girl that’s worth loving
I am making when I sing

Mother, you’ve always been my pillar
But sometimes you seemed harsh
But now I know why cause this is hard
As you should know I have kid’s to feed
I love you dearly but like brother I needed to get away

Please don’t worry I’m okay
Stuck with the memory of the day you went away
I’m writing this letter to let you know I’m doing it
I’ve made it where I wanted to be
And found a girl that’s worth living for
If you didn’t I’m making it when I sing

When I came home I’ll see you all
Is grandfather okay tell him I said hello
Where is my brother now if you know
Mother, please pass this to dad
So he can hear me sing
With my new found family

Please don’t worry I am okay
Stuck with the memory of when you went away
I’m writing this letter to let you know I’m doing it
I’ve made it to where I want to be
Where I wanted to be
I’m making it come true every time I sing
