In the dark cold hallways
  Empty rooms within the soul

I wander lost and so alone
No dreams and vanished goals

Memories that ghostly float
Dark clouds within the rain

Heart that is slowly breaking
Left just with loss and pain

    So Sad

    A very sad poem I can relate to. Love is a powerful emotion. It can bring amazing happiness one minute and down spiraling sorrow the next. The human heart is so frail and strong at the same time. A wonderful heartfelt poem you have written.
