It happens again, the feeling takes hold.
Sharp and intense, bitter and cold.
Nothing to be done when it starts to begin.
Just sit back helplessly, as the pain sets in.
Waves of nostalgia, they cover me black.
Hearing words in your voice, stings like a smack.
Nowhere to go, impossible to run.
The only option is to wait til it's done.
Thoughts of you start to fade, wipe away the tears.
Hopeless and lost, drowning in a pool of fears.
It's stopped for now, but how long to be sure?
