Unconditional

You were raised by a monster
Yet this monster you love
This mind that's been overtaken
By sinful corruption
This mouth that tells you
You're a failure, you're a waste
Yet perhaps some good it's done
For never in my lifetime
Have I met a more gentle soul
A more understanding nature
A more compassionate being
Making good out of the suffering
Feeling love despite the hatred
After being broken or hurt
And enduring the pain
After heartache and soul tears
You still find love
That many will lose after a break
And all I can say is
Whether it brings you hope or makes you think
Jesus loves you
And so do I

    Superb plus

Ah, a fine write. You remind me of Robert Schuller's "Hour of Power", ministry. Which I, personally believe to be the most genuine of all the various TV ministries. You express your thoughts quite clearly. Thanks for sharing. For those who may be curious about the Hour of Power, here's a link to click on:
