The beginning of the y ear,
Such happy faces all over,
Sad and alone i was,
Always searching for love in a 4 leaf clover.

I saw you
My curiosity on the rise,
I saw  your smile,
My sadness to meet its Demise.

We became fast friends,
All smiles and fun,
When you gave me the first hug,
The crush on you began.

I was careful not to tell you,
It wouldn't matter, you were taken,
Plus i wasn't exactly the best looking,
And the loneliness was awakened.

I still put on a smile,
Just friendship is what we had,
I just want you happy.
To be your friend... i was glad.

I was jealous of every girl that looked your way,
Knowing they were better than me,
I battled with myself,
And struggled to get free.

My attraction made me awkward,
but i still wouldn't tell,
It started to Subside,
but no matter what, in love i fell.

You were so special,
with smiling eyes,
such a beautiful person,
so out of reach, i was dying inside.

The one day,
on ALLPOETRY,
you messaged me,
and told me you liked me.

I was ECSTATIC,
unbelieving, but happy,
I couldn't help but grin,
Maybe my life wasn't so crappy.

Some things led to another,
And i became yours,
Things became perfect,
for me, you opened many doors.

So i want to thank you kindly,
And there's something so true.
And for the first time I'll say,
I love and Adore you.
