Oscar parked his beat-up VW van by the curb and gazed at the giant tent that an unsuccessful Midwest Revivalist had abandoned. He turned sideways in the driver's seat and kicked at the door, which screeched from abuse as it opened. He jumped out onto the curb and swung open the rear of the van. He grabbed a sledgehammer with a taped handle from the back and then staked a hand-written sign near the entrance of the tent that read:
Attention!
Opinions needed
Will pay good money for your notions, views, ingrained prejudices, dyed-in-the-wool beliefs, honest-to-god opinions, deliberate misconceptions, group mentalities, heavy-handed persuasions, zero tolerance, Divine rulings, snap decisions, warped views, popular delusions, mass-hallucinations, unrepentant wrong thinking, off-the-cuff remarks, paranoid schizophrenia, slanted biases, rush to judgments and editorial comments.
Ex-cogitators and deliberate thinkers need not apply.
Within minutes the tent was filled with people from all walks of life, of all colors and persuasions and equally of both sexes. They pushed and shoved to be first in line to give their opinions, each certain of his judgment. Oscar quietly zipped up the tent and ran to the van and pulled out a metal, paint chipped container. He poured the liquid from the can onto the zipped entrance and then lit a match, tossing it at the tent...which soon was engulfed in flames.
Never questioning his convictions, or the irony, he pulled up the sign and hopped into his VW van and headed down the highway to the next town, where he'd find plenty more applicants ready to adjudicate their brothers.

Oscar should set his sights on call in sports radio programs next. lol Too many people like to listen to themselves talk. There's an expression I know about opinions that seems fitting however it contains a "choice" word so I won't degrade your page with it.
Fire seems to be a viable solution to rid the ills of society.

Was it not Bonko who committed this deed
when I first came upon this? I thought it
so, for I had a tear in my eye for I was
becoming fond of the oft-appearing clown,
and wished he had found a less diasterous
method of doing away with deliberate
misconceptions, et al!
Could have added a book signing to the list.
Now I shall stop!

Just my little way of dealing with opinionated people.
I don't think it was ever Bonko but if I ever give it an edit it will either become Bonko or Psycho Dave. Not why I chose Oscar, maybe there is a meaning behind it that I've forgotten, there sometimes is with the names I choose. Thanks!
