Dave's Self-help Humanitarian Relief (100)
My friend Dave was jailed most unjustly. Unemployed, he'd begun a campaign of self-help humanitarian relief when the cops nabbed him just outside the Shop-A-Lot with his overcoat pockets filled with two six packs of Budweiser beer and several cartons of Marlboro cigarettes.
"I had to do it, I have three hungry kids at home," Dave pleaded when his court date arrived.
"Then why Sir, if you have hungry children to feed, did you buy beer and cigarettes?" asked the skeptical judge.
"Well, you see, your Honor, I needed something to take my mind off their hunger," he replied unconvincingly.

Ah, Dave has been found again! I mentioned him to Pixie, sh hasn't met him yet. I saw you only have 2 Dave's stuff here, and one isn't really Daveish.
This one I remember very well, still funny in a weird way

How'd you find this? It must be deep in the bowels of the archive. I haven't done all the lists yet. There are more Dave stories out there, in fact I think I have one to post very soon, lol
