passing through phases
blowing crescent,
into well rounded circle.
each day dressing new
ruling over night sky
with infinite stars surrounding.
instigate waves
turning tides high and low.
sea extending into mouths of a river
you holding levers over ocean
looking still from sky.
you provoke young
taking shelter,
sweet words flowing
in your presence.
they stare at sky,
running out of words
entwining each other's fingers.
You cool the wind,
people sleep,
while you roam.
but poets wake up,
get their feelings,
pen them
for day reading.
