Tears are funny little things.
They gather around your eyes
and then one by one jump off your cheek
into your lap.
Like little curses
parachuting out of your head
to some other place.
And we look prettiest after we cry.
Our eyes turn brighter
more alert,
more colorful.
Crying is good--
the stress washes away.
