actually it means a lot more than just those two lines HAHA. bascially it means that life hasnt gone just as one has planned it to that everything they wanted to do, couldnt or hasnt been done and it was just one big lost dream. and deep within their inner child is screaming because they wish that things could go back to that as they were when they were a child when they had all those dreams.

I think it means that long ago life was easy and carefree. now it seems like a dream and you long for the "good old days" lol.

How horrible. This poem is about a spoiled child having a huge tantrum because she did not get what she wanted for Christmas.
