Who doesn't have a stone on his heart,
in his heart, for his heart?
The depth of pain we carry
pinches our faces and minds,
harries us from behind.
The advice they give,
forgive, forget, forgive!
salts our wounds.
How can we begin
to pardon all that sin?
As we learn to walk before we run,
in small steps we bring it out
and examine in the sun,
a pique, an annoyance,
and water it with mercy.
It hurt because already there was hurt,
that blurt came from his pain,
injuries wounded each other
till we could not tell
properly where blame fell.
Then the scales of Justice balance
and our eyes see clearly,
blame is equal, there is none.
All have fallen short and harmed another,
it is the human tragedy.
Self knowledge and mercy
are the golden keys to all forgiving.
Compassion begins with self,
healing and forgiving failures,
then spreads to others.
Acceptance of our own humanity
points to accepting our brothers.
Small steps lead to large ones;
the road is long,
but the journey must begin.
Author notes
Many people are afraid to start this inner work;
they must see the relief before they will believe it.

Forgiveness is at the heart of peace.
Unfortunately (i) one may become injured when no offence was intended; or (ii) one may become offended when a seemingly abrasive comment or action is not a consciously punitive action by the other party. God give us the wisdom to know such differences and the proper sensitivities to live at peace, as much as we are able, with all people.

Your agreement means a lot to me, Ron, thank you for your reading and insightful comment.
You are right, we become offended because of our own perceptions and thoughts, even if offence was intended. Water runs smoothly over smooth stones... so if there is a hurt, the place to look for its resolution is within oneself.
This account is sleeping, the motivation for new writing is in another place.
Many blessings to you and your compatriots in this difficult time.

I so loved to see how simple yet gracious God is!
His methods are Divinely clear cut. Love your neighbour as I (God) love you. And who can show greater forgiveness than the Lord, Jesus, our Saviour?
If we do not take the first steps towards inner healing, we will become bitter, sarcastic and utterly crude. The seed of the heart shows its fruit in either frown or smile.
I was so angry yesterday for some internet absurdity, that I felt I could run right through a wall, and I also verbalized that. Later I was so ashamed of my words. The first walls we need to break down, are those that block us from being spiritually free and forgiving. It is not as hard: one should only act upon the moment in purity, the a lifetime will unfold in splendor. This is a lesson I myself ought to remember!
Love to you, my friend, and thank you.

Thank you, sweetheart!
There is a great song http://www.cowboylyrics.com/lyrics/martina-mcbride/loves-the-only-house-10265.html great because we all see the pain, and we can do something about it. But you are right, relief comes from our own healing.
Thank you for being you and seeing where the broken bits are - we all have them, but that is no excuse for hurting someone. Much love and blessings sweetie.

The construction of the three dimensional material universe is such that all roads lead to disaster - a built-in guarantee for failure. In order to achieve this goal a plethora of lies, disinformation and keeping back of information is perpetually inflicted on all entities, organizations and communities. It is the result of the terrorist attack of the big bang by spirits whose existence is founded on lies. But there is a full scale war raging in the heavens between the universal terrorists and their adversaries who are the exact opposite of the liars. Mankind is caught in the battles that involve planet earth. Our free will is basically to submit to the lies flooding life or oppose them, because all consequence we experience and observe is destructive. Thank you for creating and sharing. I hope these words will reach those capable and prepared to give them thorough thought. Take care.

Thank you for your comment Chris.
That is an interesting interpretation, in the context that we are acting out our part of the shadow war. For me it is not so clear cut, we are all human and prone to error, misinformed and acting on partial information. Even if a person is totally self-serving and expects me to slave for him, to God we are all beloved parts of creation. I must turn again for guidance to Jesus, who said, "But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." (Matt 6:15) Mercy is the only option for me, retribution must be handled with great care.
Thank you for your thoughts, which brought reasoning to this intuitive work.
