Dont need no ready cash for decorations this year,
those rednecks have got this christmas in gear.
Strung op a few cables and the old brokend down car,
can't afford the gas so there you are.
I hung a couple of those reindeer with lights and all,
and some of the neighbors actually was appauled.
But the kiddies just loved it and heck we don't care ,
for we weren't thinking of the neighbors when we hung it up there.
Heck fire they think that's bad then they ought to come inside,
We got on our tree is stacked up beer cans and collector bottle openers thats right.
We got a home made Santa made of pantyhose pretty cool,
and that there Santa will be raffled off in a redneck pool.
Its amazing what a person can do to earn a few bucks,
and other than that there Santa, maw made a few home made rugs.
She is so proud of all these decorations so what the heck,
she said they aint none like hers yet.
Besides christmas is for the children but some people ferget ,
That it's a time to teach the children about love you bet.
And we always bring a smile on their faces you see,
for we even have a bumper sticker that says look down her Santa ITS ME !
Well to all you good neighbors here and about,
a big redneck christmas shout .
YIHAW to the brothers and sisters who give such love ,when your broke as hell its nothing new,
and for what the neighbors think we dont give a fiddlers toot .

Merry Christmas and rememeber those houses that doesnt look like everyone elses well everybody comes by to see it for its home made and sometimes they will even say thats been hanging there for three years do you figure he will ever change it or just keep adding lights

Awwee, when I see pics like that one, it makes me wander if they are just proud to have anything for Christmas decorations.
It is very funny looking though. you are a master at these rhyming poems!!!
I remember when I was small, Mama made garland from popcorn!! We couldn't afford anything else!
But one Christmas Daddy had very little money so he bougt one of my brothers and one sister a world globe together, to share!! the look on their face was heart-breaking, but Dady did the best he could. I got a my first doll (I love that doll so much)and my brothers took the head off and played baseball with it!!!
even though we had so little, we had the best of memories!!
