Disappointment? (other title suggestions loved)

I don't know what to say
what do you expect?
That I can live another day
for life I have no respect

Because in all honesty
it's too much to take
It's taking everything for you to see
that this smile is fake

That underneath my shirt
lays scars that show the pain
That with every breath I hurt
living with nothing to gain

So I'm sorry to disappoint you
it seems that is all I'm good for
I can add you to the list too
of the things besides myself I hurt more!
