There are shadows that lurk in even the darkest places, secrets that cannot be held due to the knowledge of others, and in these the illusions are seen and we see them in awe but yet we still know about the wires and little trap doors.
It is our minds that play the tricks as there are tricks being played behind our backs. None to the wiser and none knowing less, for what they see is what they see yet the magician knows the secret of theirs but not the others.
While sitting in the audience and an illusion begins, we think to ourselves "I have seen this one before". And yet we still watch in amazement, for the colour of the handkerchiefs have changed.
The bottles are different shapes and the cards play a different number but yet the out come still remains as it were the show before. Some have looked behind the curtains and others have seen the doubles.
No matter really what keeps the show alive other than the magician not telling the secret of how something works. For we all know what hides in the table under the hat and that nothing can be done as a secret anymore.
How long can you hide your secret?

This is really really good. I like the way you tell us all about how the magician up there does tricks and we still keeping watching even though we have seen it so many times. I love how you explain that there are slight difference in each thing we see, yet the tricks are still the same, but they draw us in. There are a couple of magicians around who are quite baffling and no matter how hard you look, you never see the slight of hand. Excellent piece that i enjoyed reading very much. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Smoke and mirrors...
Lost in the illusion, everyone loves the magician. The slight of hand he's perfected. The performance continues while his secrets stay hidden, but an experienced eye knows the hand that doesn't show. The games are the same, but the fun is over...there is no magic in the hand of the magician.
