The odds are against us, they dont want to see us together
I feel their cold stares and hear their whispers of hate
Theyre just waiting for us to grow weak and fall apart
Picking apart our tightly knitted romance and tearing our hope to shreds
But we''l have the last laugh in the end, when you take my hand and put a ring on my pretty little finger
They call you a failure, useless, and weak
But no one sees the way you are with me, you handle things way better than I ever could and stay strong through the good and the bad
Your grades are to be envied and talents many
Far from useless, a little closer to amazing
Youre perfect in my eyes
They call me crazy, whore, and a liar
But only you see the real me
Im only as crazy as you can make me out to be and you accept me just the way I am...flaws and all
No longer a whore, Im staying faithful to you
You have given me so much, more trust than I deserve, deemed trustworthy in your eyes
You fear that you dont do enough for me, but what happiness in life I have is because of you
Our families just dont understand that the love we share should not be taken lightly
They see are happiness and are jealous so they do anything in their power to tear us apart
But we are gonna fight, hand in hand against everything
Only a few years stand in between us until we can be free
So lets wait it out and never give up
Ill never leave you and just wait and see how happy we can be

    people hope for couples to fail all the time because of jealousy and hatred

    Itsa really good write Christina. Sometimes there are things that would make it so that people will hate but mostly jealousy. You have penned a great poe though. I like it.
