If you knew me before
Before the Marine Corps
How I used to be
So full of glee
So content and happy
Maybe a little snappy
But overall pretty normal
Then something occured horrible
I went through a total change
Turned a little strange
Slowly my brain shifted
Away from society I drifted
It all started in boot camp
Under the D.I.'s vicious clamp
I would have talks with god
Not even thinking it was odd
Then things got a lot worse
It all came over me like a curse
Now look at the person i've become
My brain is almost numb
But remember me for who I was
Not how my head has turned to fuzz
I now am formerly known as myself
