Can you make their mechanical voices?
Voices of eternity
Of the ages
Make them sing for me
Their soundless music reminiscent of the ruins
And reminiscent of the sea
Those china dolls
Victorian lace
With the voice of God
And an impossible face
But when all the kingdoms
Collapse in the seas
You'll still hear my dolls

I think I got the idea for this from one of Anne Rice's books. She mentioned something similiar to the last line in one of her Mayfair Withches books, though for the life of me I cannot remember which one.
