Waiting.

June 16, what a long time to wait.
I'm waiting for you to be born.
I've grown so fond of you all ready.
I'm waiting to hold your hand and to see your toothless smile.
Mother is always waiting to hold her little one.
So, wait I will and cherish my round stomach till you come.

Please tell me what you think

It will be interesting to read the poems you will now write. I did read one already, but as the months and years progress it should be interesting to see the changes in you and your poetry due to your child.
