Santa's emergency delivery.

Santa Clause was getting ready to leave,
to deliver toys, one snowy Christmas eve.
He had plenty of toys and goodies up
his furry, red sleeves.
He got into his sleigh..and much to
his dismay, the
sleigh wouldn't turn either this, or
that, or the other way!

"What ever shall I do?" he said, "I am telling you
that if I cannot ride my sleigh, I can't deliver
toys!There's just no way!
If I cannot deliver the toys, to all
the girls and boys, how ever shall
Christmas be enjoyed?"
Little Ernie the elfin' boy jumped up
and he scremed with joy, " I KNOW, Santa!"
He said, as he took his little hat off of his head..
.."You can ride Rudolph there instead!"

"Do you really think.." Santa said with a thoughtful wink.
"Do you really think? " Then Santa's eyes began to blink.
" But how will I get all these toys
upon Rudlph's back.. to get them there and bring
them back?"
At that thought, Santa dropped his heavy, bulging
sack!
All the other elves had been making Christmas
bric-a-brac.
Just then, Smokey the elf came swirling down the
chimney smoke stack.

" Hey!" yelled Smokey in a short little quip, as
he jumped down from
his spiraling trip.
" Tell you what I'm gonna do!
Santa,I'll fix the sleigh..just
for you!"
Smokey said, "Santa, there's no need to panic,
because,I have learned to be a fantastic mechanic!"
Just then, Alvin elf chirped in his sqeekey little
voice,"I do not want to interrupt, but there's
just no other
choice!"

Santa looked around at him, and asked "What
do you mean?"
Alvin held a cookie pan, which he had been
licking clean.
Alvin continued, in his little sqeekey northland
dialect...I don't mean to interupt..er, it's just
called 'interject!' "
Santa said, "What do you want of me? I am so
busy, can't you see?"
Alvin said in a timid little voice, "As I told
you, there was no other
choice!
Mrs. Santa Clause needs a ride to the Northland
Emergency Room.
You'll both have a baby very,
very soon!!"

"Oh! Oh, my goodness!" Santa Clause said.
He pulled his red hat tight over his head.
He started running to where Mrs. Santa was sitting
with all the strength his plump body was getting.
"Hurry! Hurry! Get the ambulence ready!
Please, help me hold my shaking hands steady!"
Santa's hands were shaking.His
voice was kind of quaking.
The Northland Ambulence rushed
at the speed of
light,
through caverns of ice
on that cold wintery
night.

Like a lightening bolt, they
took them both there.
It was so fast that it
gave them both quite a
scare!
Into the hospital nursery they
went like swiftest
wind.
They were carried there by
their elfin
friends.
Soon, there was a cute baby voice crying out.
Everyone heard Santa Clause shout,"Hey!
I'm a father! Merry Christmas everyone!
I've just received a new baby son!"
He then checked out the status of the sleigh.
He found out the toys would be deleivered by
next Christmas day!"
The elves had repaired Santa's sleigh, and
prepared cookies to eat on the way!

Santa began his Christmas trip with joy..
still thinking about his baby boy.
It reminded him of a night
long ago...of
a story of baby Jesus, that we
should all know.
As the snow fell softly to the ground..all
the people on earth heard the sound...
"MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!"
THIS IS THE BIRTHDAY OF GOD'S OWN SON!"
Santa listened to the jingle bells on his
sleigh.
The spirit of Christmas was in his heart
all the way!

Santa gave a jubalent shout,
"This is what it's all about !"
"MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!
LET'S ALL HAVE LOTS AND LOT'S OF FUN!

I was wondering why Santa Claus only brings gifts for the girls and boys.
What about us mature folks who long for their favorites to play and enjoy.

    Quite unfair I would say.
    Lol
How I wished someone from their clan thought about us.
