The Crow laughs
I answer the call with opened eyes
Because life is too short for hatred
The Crow speaks
I answer the call with open ears
For knowledge can only expand if we listen
The Crow sings
I answer the call with open arms
It's a pleasantry for my eyes
The Crow screams
I answer the call with an open mind
It's important to stay sharp
The Crow cries
I answer the call with an open heart
For humanity is not intended for humans alone
The Crow falls
I answer the call with an open dash
Because haste is a sin
The Crow dies
I answer the call with an open casket
So you see what you have done to me

I like this poem very much ... i like the stanzaic lst line repetition of the first two words with a different verb following and this showing a progession, and also there is dark humor to this that i find very fine indeed
