Riding a thread of thought
along the corridors
stretching from the kitchen sink
and ending at an envelope
holding a heart stained travelogue
sent to locksmith
to create keys to cars never own,
but it was returned addressee unknown.
Cartography eyes shelled behind
crystalline expectations,
making road signs
for the directions
traveled by the mind,
worlds scrawled upon a mental tapestry,
utopias created as vision vestment vows.
Someday sunrises collected in cerebral scrapbook,
connecting the dots between citadels of desires,
the capitals of tomorrows
always reach in a convertible
existing in the mind,
driven while gazing out the window
at highways constructed
upon a landscape often harsh and forbidden,
paving them with the subtle sighs of asphalt dreams.

Sighing in awe....Your words flow in imagery like a river here...You are unbelievable in this one weaving in and out with your mapping of destinations, places and thoughts of the mind....Excellent!

My Dearest Brother,
This is just WOW! What a read, and yet, it touches me deeply. I feel as if somehow, you looked into my soul, and found the words there for this one! What a fantastic job you did!
Best of luck in this contest!
