Tender petals of emotion are there
Clutched within my pounding heart
And deep within this seed so fair
There lies the greatest unknown art
Soft golden beams of light appear
Shall clasp my seed in strong embrace
And waterfalls of soothing tears
May yet the pains of past erase
Yet should you chose to turn your gaze
Return to me no love of thine
Then never shall this flower raise
Its lovely face to bloom, divine
And there shall I remain, encased
By love's sweet seed, at love's behest
Whilst tender petals of emotion placed
And clutched within my wounded breast
Author notes
My love is like a flower, it may forget to bloom, if you ignore it...Unknown.
