promises, promises, promises. oft' the ones that say that they willna hurt ye are the ones that hurt ye the wost... mayhap 'tis because we let our gaurd down, and put our faith in them...i dinna know what is exactly, but that let down is hazourdous for ones health.

It always seems to hurt so bad when the person who says they will never hurt you turns around and hurts you worse then anyone before because you trusted them.... beautiful write.... the words flowed together in harmony as the story unfolded in your mind

I understand SO much the feeling that eminates from those words. Your a very talented poet. I never have gotten deep into the rythmic form of verse. I'm more of a ... beat or slam poet. But your expression touchs me, thank you for sharing your wonderful poems.

Awww...this is so so sad..and wow can I relate to this. one of my first exes told me that, and he hurt me more than any other person I cared about like that. I guess the first heartbreak always seems like the worst..

that's my favorite part of the poem. prolly because i can relate to it so well. you don't want to like give that person the satisfaction of you crying over them...but you can't help it and your tears just keep coming....grrr! lol....great write tho! it's like you read my mind and wrote my thoughts down. thank you so much for sharing!
