I once had a love so fine,
Mortal life cast aside to rule by his side for all time,
Once I held him close several times a day,
His touch lit my flesh on fire with rapture.
Once more I held him after the battle to keep me safe was done,
Pain was his touch as he lay lifeless in my arms,
Lost was the one I loved my beloved Prince.
I cry and hold him as his body faded into dust,
Cold I grew soon after he was gone,
To sleep I slipped cased in crystal glass to waken no more.
Death soon sweeps me to a new time; place; and life,
I live to search for the one I lost,
looking far and near,
searching High and low.
To no avail many times my search found him not,
But a new life soon bore me through time,
Before I could hold him I died several times,
Most of my deaths in his arms.
All the times he tried to save my life,
But my life was too far gone,
Whisked into another after another,
Endlessly my heart and soul searched for him,
55th life I now live, And found the one I lost I sure enough have done.
Now I speak to him off and on,
One day soon I will feel his arms,
Holding me in his loving embrace,
To feel his blessed venom course my body I do long.
To once more rule at his side forever more.
