A test, yes a test, a test was given.
Tell me, you said, tell me whatever
Happened to the colours of indecision,
And I answered that I had not the time
To give, keep, no not forever.
I had Gold and Violet; The Royalty,
White and Gray; so bland they had
No names.
Green, Blue, Brown; nature had been a
Fleeting thought, forgive me I begged.
My mind wandered so into memories and I
Could not name them, nor them could I cage.
It had been a portrait and then it blurred,
Together into the story of childhood,
And there, with a sip of absinthe,
You took the pen from my hand and wrote;
'You are only free when you have lost all bonds'
You etched it into my skull and walked into the canvas,
And with a smile bid me 'G'day',
Only then I awoke from dreams of indecision.

Wow. What strong thoughts and imagination. This was very different, as if I had jumped into someone's brain and I were silently observing his/her thoughts.
Very well written. Good luck to you in the contest!
