Brilliant blues and bold reds
Swirling around magnificently
Your smile intensifies the hues
Creating a dazzling array
Thoughts of you warm me, fill me
A contentment floods my being
Your aura, your essence overwhelms my senses
I try to inhale all of you
Thoughts of your touch electrify my soul
My heart alive with song
A warmth washes over me
I feel you as if next to me
The taste of you still on my lips
A sweetness with no comparison
Your scent still lingers in the room and on me
I breathe you in, yearning
Thoughts of you hang thick in the air

Hmmmm...could reading and commenting on this piece break my "no lovey-dovey poetry, please"??? hahaha. WELL, maybe it could. Either way, I was excited to see what you mixed up and it's wonderful. It seems as if you let yourself go with the flow and 'mixed and matched' blind-folded using your senses instead of your head, and WALA! I may not read romance stuff but I can recognize it and this was put together quite niecely. Bravo, Mel (PS, there's a 'poetic-sense' celebration going on so you and Swan can come by the lab anytime...leave me a few recipes of what you mix up if you don't mind).
