We sit and sip
the sweet taste of tea
with sugar
no cream
Larry suggested tea
no cakes, just sugar
sprinkled softly
in a decorative cup
Kris’ first experience
a warm sweet smell
for him
just a touch of sugar as well
Jessica has had this treat
with Mom and Dad
fancy cup and saucer
for a week of well behaving
Richard liked the taste
and the smell so divine
sips it a bit faster
just like his Dad
So here we sit
sipping tea
on this cold but bright day
taking a break for homework
