In honor of... all those who struggle with drugs.
He was bright, brilliant and fun
He was my love, my only one.
Suffering under her thumb
He was the doormat his mother walked upon.
Inspite of the pain he learned to trust
To love again.
Happiness beyond what can be described we lived for each other, until meth arrived.
Struggling was a daily event
I witnessed first hand what this meant.
So in honor of my love who now exsists with God above
I will one day open a healing place
Where families can go, to escape from addictions disgrace.
I'll build a big building that will be deemed a hospital
I'll build another to act as a school
A couple of apartments to house those in transition
Just a place where families can feel safe from the destruction of addiction.
The kids will live with one parent or the other
Lot's of counselors to help cover every sister, every brother.
Husbands and wives will have another chance
Saving their families from addictions hands.
Plenty of housing, Plenty of hope
Job training if needed for those at the end of their rope.
Treating the family is the only way to succeed
I'll continue to build so long as there is a need.
No more jailing those who are sick
No more searching for a quick fix.
Give 'em time to heal is what I say
Give 'em a hand and stop looking at them with dismay.
Addicts were not born with the dream to be bad
More often than not it was someone who scarred them
Leaving them soul sad.
I'll show them security and acceptance
Then they can build and enhance
On what God wants for each of Gods Children.
