If I was Santa this year
I'd be jolly and merry and stout.
I'd let everyone know
What the Christmas Spirit's about.
I'd laugh and sing,
And say ho-ho-ho!
I'd be bright and happy
And fun don't you know...
But the one special gift
That is wise and is true
Is the one gift I'd give
To the person that's you.
I'd give you some time,
Just that, nothing more,
But that small gift of time
Means love evermore.
You see, I've not had time
For cuddling and fun
And I have not had time
For any ole one.
And it is this gift of time
That is precious and sweet,
And with it we'd live
Out our life so complete.
But I'll never be Santa,
And I just won't win
Unless you give me
The chance to start again.

Time is the greatest gift we can give to another. Because we have no idea how much time we may have left, for our time is finite.
This is a really nice Christmas poem in which the rhythm danced along at a nice little clip while I did enjoy the rhyme as if certainly didn't appear to be forced.
I thought that the ending was truly superb!!

Myth-, You know, that really is the perfect gift, time. Intimacy is so lacking in our society and I dont mean romantic intimacy!!! I mean sitting and being engaged, invested in another human beings life. Listening hearing, sharing, enjoying a friend or a loved ones company, it is the ultimate gift!!!
This so why I love to do reviews!!!!!
It is a gift I can lend, one I truly so enjoy!!!
