scapegoat ceremony

to ride upon a naked woe
man with nine heads to break
fast such religious renegade
in such a way more civilized
than savage; such black-hat
magicians wearing loin-cloths
of such freshly drawn yak skin
bound to queer aristocracy
in knee-long trousers as such
these cloaks they sliver as
tortoise shell, such human
headed silk and belts drawn
from bowels of snakes, the nagas,
while they, the snakes, in human
skin garments such carved as
glacial ice and clouds, such breasts
as plated breasts as wreaths
pierced in such a way as a seed
syllable of past like human bone
garlanding a neck, necked and crowned
with jaws and iron, precious stone
and stuffed marsupial, and such a lie
and there a prostrate corpse
from whose nostrils a snow-storm spills
such verbs and spit and chant
and purple prosaic spew such -
such blood moistened nudity such
lanced with word, such a pilgrimage
which wades until such countries
fall and ponds such conquer face.

Wow, wow, wow, wow. I read it again and again in awe. I feel a little like a hiding voyeur witnessing something hermetic, profound and sensual.

    Excellent!!!!

chord, the nagas, can't remember Peru, the Andea's I did a lot of reading about ancient snake clans. Stitchman or Stitchen any way he is an author that did lots of research about the ancient old ones, the naga's a super race of beings that came to earth from the Pleiades constellation. Anway, I am bringing all this up because your poem reminds me of these ancient writings. You must have done some kind of research your self in these area's to come up with such a profound poem!!!!!
I so loved and enjoyed your poem!
    Excellent!!!

I'm not so sure I understand this one, however, it seems to flow in a most unusual rhythm. Thanks for sharing it.

I love this. I love the cadences created by the repetition (I wondered what it reminded me of for a while, and then I caught an echo of Lisa Jarnot - congratulations on being likened to a famous poet). I love the words that jar, jagging out of any recognisable thought-pattern - marsupial for heaven's sake! Jings! I love the picture painted, as though seen on shards of a broken mirror. Bookmarked... definitely bookmarked.
