Forever

The sun shines down on your face from a distance,
the look in your eyes show the never-ending passion you offer.

love yet is our destination,
a place we all escape to,
the vacation all need to discover.

the way you look at me is unlike any other,
the way those three words depart from your lips are sweeter than any.

"I love you,forever.
Your the best thing in my life,
and your the only person I will ever need,
always and forever mine"

The sun sets below the mountains,
holding me in your arms,
I feel nothing but warmth in the cold night,
the way you told me your mine is forever engraved into my heart.

as the moon lifts its self into the night sky,
you carried me to the darkness of our resting place,
my head lying on your chest hearing your hearts steady beat,
this is the way I want it all to end,
me and you,
forever.

    This is a very beautiful piece of work. Great job!

    this is wonderful. if only love really could be forever.. and yet, in so many ways, it is. the imagery in this is great, and i love how simple and peaceful it is.
