What is this feeling?
Yes, waiting IS the hardest part
I have a sense of longing
Deep within my heart
I know how it got there
I somewhat want it to go away
I'm finding it hard to survive
And it's only been a day
Patience is the key
I feel like it's a kind of test
Will he answer no?
Or will he answer yes?
Either way, I did it!
Put my heart out on the line
I haven't had this feeling
In such a long time
I figured you were worth it
I wanted you to know
That I was interested too
But was your flirting just for show?
At least you didn't look at me
And flat out just say no
You wanted time to think
So I let you go
My heart's feeling it the most
My head's trying to keep me sane
You said you'd tell me Thursday
So now I'm counting down the days

another amazing and brilliant poem. I feel like you've taken whats in my head and made a beautiful oem, except its from your head, thoguh i think this is something everyone feels as well. Great job, really good poem, i really enjoyed it.
Only suggestion is a slight typo, i think in the second last stanza it runs

i think "so no" might be "say no" ??

It's all jumbled in my head and it needs to come out. Lately, it's been coming out and making sense. It's funny, I think the same of other peoples writing.... that they're writing what I needed to write.
