Have you ever felt like you would never meet him or her,
in this day and age of society?
Was there ever a moment that you wanted to give up altogether,
because it seemed like nothing fit your limited variety?
Was there someone old or new in your Life,
who managed to catch you by surprise?
Did they say or do anything that caught you off-guard,
in a way that opened up your mind and eyes?
Were you spending and investing more time than you thought you never had,
just to be close to their well being?
Could you ever see yourself thinkin about them,
long before there was ever a moment known as "You And Me"?
Did the day finally come when you admitted your feelings to them,
to find out that they felt the exact same way?
Were there any lightness in your heart and soul,
when they "I Love You" each and every day?
Could you feel yourself floating on Cloud Nine,
each and every time the two of you would kiss?
Were you daydreaming about the exclusive moments,
that were nothing short of absolute bliss?
Was every moment together more beautiful than the last,
even if it was just holdin their hand?
Could you see yourself taking the biggest step with them,
and join each other in the presentation of that sacred golden band?
Did you ever feel that indescribable drop in your heart,
when they told you the devastating bad news?
Were you ever stuck askin yourself "Why did you leave me?"
spending restless nights crying and feeling those depressing blues?
Did you feel like you were fighting every negative point from that moment on,
to keep the candle lit bright and strong?
Were you putting everything on the line and sacrificing more than you had,
to maintain the Love you've been praying on for so long?
Were you ever placed in a position to put all of your feelings aside,
because you can't stand nor afford to lose their friendship?
Could you help yourself doin more than you're supposed to,
because you still cherish and miss the relationship?
Was there a time when you came to that painful conclusion,
of removing them permanently from your memory?
Did the decision hurt you down to your soul,
because their place in your heart will remain for your eternity?
Do you believe in fighting for the one person who changed your Life,
in more ways than you could ever explain to them or demonstrate?
If your answer is Yes, then you have experienced that point in your Life,
of ever having a Soulmate.

A Soulmate is someone who is irreplacable and uncompared to in every aspect of True Love. Very few of us still have them, while the mass majority of us lose them.

Your poem made me smile. It was a bit sad at the end (been there so many times it's just a bit "sad" now, isn't that pathetic? lol ) but It's good to here a guys view on this.
Your flow was excellent and the way in which you told this story is so gripping, you can't quit reading till you've reached the finish
"Could you feel yourself floating on Cloud Nine,"
Love it, sweet writting and beautiful naration with vivid descriptives throughout that leaves alot to think about.
By the way, I've heard before that everyone has many soulmates in their lifetime. And not all were meant to stay with us the entire lifetime, it's what they contribute to you within their time with you that counts and of course you too them also... It's a quality not quantity sort of thing in a sense... There's alot more to it than that too. Variences in belief's will leave variances in interpretations, as shown between me and Liindsy. I don't believe God has anything to do with it... I believe it's all fate and karma which is of course depending on you, not God.
Soulmates go deeper than superficially, like you said
"because their place in your heart will remain for your eternity"

Do you honestly think God would allow us to lose our Soulmates? Maybe they werent the Soulmate God had planned for you but the "Soulmate" YOU chose for yourself... Which one is more significant all depends on your trust and relationship to God.
