I know you can understand me’
by communicating with my mind.
You liked to scared my pants off,
my first encounter with your kind.
You say your just dropping by,
and you want to be my pal.
Well I know what’s coming next,
I can hear your belly growl.
There’s nothing in the ice box,
so I’ll tell you what we’ll do.
We’ll make a peanut butter sandwich,
with a little jelly too.
We’ll start with two slices of bread,
that’s what these white things are.
Then we’ll get the peanut butter,
from inside this little jar.
Now this is what we call a knife,
to spread the peanut butter on the bread.
And now we’ll get the jelly jar,
and do the same I said .
He took a bite and his eyes let up,
I seen he liked it by his toothy grin.
But I think he got more sandwich out,
than he got sandwich in.

Hahaha! I loved this. It would be a fun thing to have to describe to some critter from way out, how to make a sandwich. Actually, come to think of it, I have never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Sounds weird! Is this real jelly you are talking about? Anyway. This was very humorous and had me laughing a lot. I loved it. The very best of luck in the contest.
