A one way street of Love

Your years are the same as mine
But your life in a more rapid decline
Because your have aged considerably more
Yet seen considerably less

You are old, you are frail
Complexity turning a pasty pale
A shadow of what you used to be
But I love you more now than I ever did in your glory days

Companion, Comforter, Comrade,
One on the best friends I ever made
We used to be inseparable
But society won’t allow that now, full of scorn and scoff

I have to learn to cope with out you I guess
But here me I don’t love you any less
And at the end of the day when I am free of prying eyes and I can’t contain myself anymore
I bury myself in you

You have seen me at my ultimate worst
You have seen me cry and scream and curse
Tears cascading from my cheeks onto you
But you don’t mind and I know you are the only one who can truly understand me

You are deteriorating fast, but I won’t let you go
You are my everything even though
Hardly anyone knows of your existance
They would only laugh cruelly

I gaze forever into you glassy scratched eyes
Trying to find truth among the lies
But more than anything else (maybe I’m just pathetic)
I wish with the passion of my soul
That you could return my hug

wow. You can rhyme amazingly without forcing it, which is definately one of my weaknesses. This is really great, the rhyme, the imagery and the concept.
