Empty Vessel

Hollow...
the echo of emptiness rattles cages.
A glitch in one's everday ordinary,
it causes sensory overload
shaping every other word meaningless
every thought in between depleats...
Always in search to fill a void,
drifting towards the wrong elements
ingredients will always be miscalculated
and the end, a deadly combination.

Author notes

The tragedy of life is what dies in the hearts and souls of people while they live.
Albert Einstein

A grand and understanding picture of severe depression. Maybe that's why poetry is such good therapy, always seems to open up internal gates and fills one back up again. Write on!
