seems so far away,
yet vivid images remain,
cold words spoken,
again and again,
yet now you ask for forgiveness,
wanting love to be shown,
sorry but for you,
those feelings died,
long ago,
gone with the time,
forever lost.

This is so true, yet sad as one hurts another by words or actions and after they are truly so sorry but to late as the damage has been done and can't be taken back.
