The Color Of Love

Love is my favorite color,
it sits right there on the palette,
between happiness and distrust.
If I had to describe it,
I would say it is a floral color,
such as green or pink,
vibrant, but capable of wilting.
Kind of like...if you put a jar of jellybeans in the microwave,
you would get something like love,
a mesh of different colors, different emotions
melting together, yet remaining distinct.
Or if you put on a play without a script,
if you just let whatever comes to your mind...out,
a spontaneous and indescribable series of events.
Waving your white flag.
That is the color of love.

    This had so much imagery! I love colors, and I love when people use colors to describe emotions. It makes me happy to see that someone could turn a word bank into... this. This is poetry.
    I would suggest maybe breaking up the lines a little bit, making it easier to read. Other than that, good job.

      That's my favorite line too!
      And I'm glad you like the ending, I must admit, fitting 'flag' in there from the wordbank was quite difficult!
