I Was Blind; Please Forgive Me

I've forgotten how
this all used to be.
I've been entranced
by selfish illusions all
along.

I was a fool to
think that anything
would change for me;
that I could finally
be cured.

Forgive me, I left
you alone for far
too long; I hope you
haven't gone off the
deep end without me.
