Silent night,
snow is falling faster
the lights gleam blurred
from the Christmas tree
as I rock you to the tune.
"Silent night, Holy night,
All is calm, all is bright"
You have brightened my world,
helped me to see through the dark,
little fingers and toes,
created with care.
"'round yon Virgin Mother, and Child,
Holy infant so tender and mild"
Tender the feelings in me,
to caress your velvety skin
your mother I am,
together until the very end.
"Sleep in Heavenly peace,
Sleep in Heavenly peace."
Sleep my child,
Soon the cold will be over,
the lights turned down,
and First Christmas's
Just a memory.
"Silent Night, holy Night
All is calm, all is bright,
'round yon Virgin Mother and Child,
Holy Infant so tender, and mild.
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace."
Author notes
I sing this to my kids all the time, even when it's not Christmas time, it's soothing, and gentle to the soul.

Beautifully Inspiring...
Thank you for sharing your awesome and heart-warming
Christmas lullaby song with all of us!!
Seems to be a very popular cradle song - not your part, of course - but you're right, this is a very soothing flow, right from a loving mother's heart!!
Wishing you all the best in the contest!!
Peace, luv & hugs always, xx Cyn
