Sick Repetition

Oh, I thought we saw progression that time.
Another phone call, another night...
that I think we'll finally see a conclusion,
before it slips away and out of sight.

I've yelled at you so many times...
I've called you so many unecessary names
and treated you as my heart's prey,
but yet as I decide against it, it remains the same:

My head tells me to get away
yet my heart longs for you terribly...
I vent on shortly before returning to apologize,
and I mock myself considerably.

What is it about you that makes me ache?
That makes me yearn so thoughtfully:
Makes me miss you and want you back
even after what you did to me?

Just make up your mind already!
Your indecisive terms are driving us up a wall!
You're only hurting more people as you wait,
an anticipation causing you to lose us all.

Just choose, finally, and be content:
Put this wretched waiting to an end...
Stop this repetition so I can let go
and never have to see this pain again.
